Every brand has its own creative strategy that is different and tailored to the industry and specific company. If you're not sure where to get started, keep reading for some of my tips and tricks to start a creative strategy!

Customized messages

Customized messages are just what they sound like: marketing efforts that are custom to the specific customer. Think of the emails you get that have your name in the subject line, or as one article outlines: Netflix's "recommended for you" section.

An important part of customized messages is social listening. "Listening" on social media to what consumers and competitors are saying and doing will help you better tailor your content to your customers' needs and wants.

Timing

The timing of when you post is extremely important. Knowing when the optimal times to post can increase your engagement and views. Instagram and Facebook both have great analytics tools that will tell you when your followers are active and which of your posts do the best.

Keywords

Keywords can help consumers find you. Keywords can also increase your search engine optimization (SEO).

According to Neil Patel, you should find your keywords by thinking about what a common word that customers would use to describe your company would be, what your desired association is, and checking with competition.

While there are many things that can be done to improve a creative strategy, this is just a quick overview of three really simple ways to get started!
